Daichi Suzuki #7

 I will introduce the baseball player Daichi Suzuki this time.  He is a 32-year-old infielder who played for the Chiba Lotte Marines until 2019. He has been with the Rakuten Eagles since 2020. 


 He can defend every position in the infield and can defend steadily wherever he defends. 




 

Although he was originally a third baseman, he won the Golden Glove Award as a second baseman in 2017. In 2019, he was also a starter as a first baseman, second baseman, DH, and left fielder depending on his team situation. He also won shortstop Best Nine in 2013 and 2016. 


 His batting is characterized by a small swing bat control. Although he has not achieved any outstanding results, he has a stable batting average of .260 to .295 every year.




 He always jumps three times before standing in the batter's box, swings a few times, and then salutes the batter's box and umpire before entering the batter's box.


 In addition, just before the start of the game, he kneels and encourages himself by telling himself, "It's okay, it's enjoyable, let's have fun,"


 He sometimes takes time to give encouragement and cheers to his team pitchers when they are in pinch. It looks easy, but it's very difficult.

 I love his serious attitude toward baseball.
